A woman’s swollen ankles with fat are known as cankles. The common cause of the Cankles are genetic arrangement, water holding, and obesity. While genes are not actually the main reason to cause cankles in many people, other reasons can be taken into consideration for this problem.
Water retention may be managed by consuming less salt while drinking plenty of water and less consumption of alcohol. If the problem is not solved by practicing this method, take a suggestion from the doctor. If the whole problem is taken care of, make an effort to do these exercises to tone and shape the cankles.
Here are few exercises to get rid of cankles:
1. Knee Circles
- Take up the starting position by stretching the feet out to shoulder diameter aside.
- Lean down forward moderately.
- Turn round the knees clockwise, keep back the feet level on the ground. Make sure to change the position, while holding the hip motion to least.
- Perform 5 to 10 repetitions on both sides.
2. Standing Dumbbell Calf Raises
- Set up with your feet diameter wider and toes directing forward. Allow your arms to drop to one side by grabbing the dumbbells.

3. Jump Squats
- Erect your feet shoulder diameter aside and arms by one side.
- Bow the knees and come to squat position, and make sure that the knee does not bow exceeding the toes.
- Leap up the feet hopping as many times as possible by stretching the arms in the direction of ceiling.
- Go back into squat posture and repeat 8 to 10 sets.
4. Jumping Jacks
- Rise up your feet hip diameter separately and arms to one side.
- Bounce by stretching the feet apart and arms above high.
- Before lowering, come to the beginning position.
- This is exactly 1 hop. Repeat 2 to 3 sets of 10 repetitions.

- Balance the posture of the toes by erecting the right leg also. Shove the hips higher to make sure that the heels are on the ground. Keep an eye on the toes while performing this exercise.
- Inhale deeply and go far down into the position while breathing out.
6. Drink Plenty of Water
- Drinking plenty of water will keep you moisturized and make you free from bulging up and maintain the sodium ranges in the body. This condition lowers the swelling all over the body by allowing the brain to know about everything is under regulation. And the reduction of swelling is called as fewer cankles.
