Juices can be prepared using a single fruit or a combination of different fruits and vegetables.

Hot spices like cinnamon, pepper and cayenne when added to juice stimulates metabolism. You can try some of the following juice recipes for weight loss.

Apple Papaya fusion

Papaya – 1 medium

Pitted dates – 5 in no.

Red apple – 1

Mix and blend all the ingredients in a mixture and serve fresh. This juice is very high in fiber and papaya is a very rich source of fiber ideal for dieters.

Alcohols free Wine:

Pears – 2

Sweet potato – 1

Grapefruits – 3

Place all the ingredients in a mixer and blend well till it forms a smooth mixture. It is a refreshing drink without a nasty hangover.

Jogger’s Delight

Small yam – 1

Pears – 2

Oranges – 3

Mix all the ingredients and blend well. It is ideal for joggers as it provides lots of energy and strengthens muscles. It is rich in nutrients and vitamin C.

Carrot cleanser:

Carrots – 2

Apples – 2

Sweet potato – 1

Blend together all the ingredients and decorate the juice with a thin slice of Spanish onion.

Calcium Drink Recipe

Medium carrots – 3

Fresh broccoli pieces – 1/2 cup

Apple – 1

Lemon – 1/2 piece

Small handful of fresh parsley

Blend all of it together in a mixer and serve fresh

Potassium Drink

Celery – 1 stalk

Medium carrots – 4

Handful of fresh spinach,

Handful of fresh parsley and

Lemon – 1/2 piece

Blend all of this together and mix well. You can have it as an evening appetizer.

Bran Fan

Banana – 1

Low fat milk – 1/2 cup

Halved Apricots – 2

Bran – 2 tablespoons

Place banana, apricots, milk and bran in blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon. This juice is very high in fiber and also a good source of energy and calcium; it can be used as a post workout drink.

Orange Grape Juice:

Peeled blood oranges – 3

Peeled medium grape fruit – 1

Place blood oranges and grapefruit in a food processor or juicer and blend until fruits resemble juice. Serve immediately in your favorite glass, with ice if desired.

Oranges are high in fiber, vitamin C and other photochemicals that fight age related problems. Grapes are said to aid in weight loss as well as to suppress hunger.

Meal Replacement Juice:

Apple – 1

Cucumber sliced – 1

Stalk of celery sliced – 1

Baby carrots – 1/2 bag

Protein Powder – 2 tbsp

Mix all the ingredients in a blender. Mix until smooth. You can use it as a meal replacement by adding protein powder so that it will also provide the required proteins.

Apple Strawberry squash:

Strawberry – 1 cup

Medium Apples – 2

Lemon Juice – 1 tsp

Mix all the ingredients in a blender and serve fresh.
