Researchers have demonstrated that if one eats fast, the mind does not have the time to comprehend that one has indeed eaten enough.
The part of the brain that controls that feeling of satiety doesn’t respond immediately.
So there is more reason to follow the advice of our parents; who told us to eat slow, chew well and to enjoy our meal!
